| | A leading orthopedic supplier is seeking a CMM programmer. Provides quality support to engineering and production through Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming and inspection. Works effectively with engineers, inspectors, supervisors and production personnel to resolve quality issues, achieve team objectives and promote quality principles. |

| | Responsibilities
- Writes and maintains CMM programs based on customer and company specifications.
- Prepares detailed inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications.
- Maintains a clean work area ensuring adherence to the 6S standards; complies with established safety directives.

| | Qualifications
- Extensive experience with PC-DMIS software; must be able to program Brown & Sharpe using PC-DMIS.
- Thorough knowledge of GD&T and the application of ASME Y14.5M.
- Inspection of complex machined and molded tools, fixtures and parts using advanced measuring and layout instruments and equipment, visual and mechanical inspection methods.
- Ability to finish projects in a timely manner.
- Blue print reading skills.
- Ability to work independently as a problem solver.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of ISO Quality Management System requirements, preferably ISO 13485 standards.

| | Experience/Education
- 3-5 years of programming experience
- Expertise with PC-DMIS
- Brown & Sharpe certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or some college credits preferred
